She was born in Klamath Falls, Ore., Jan. 26, 1948, and was raised in Tulelake, Calif., with her sisters, Marietta Campbell and Denise Cosford.
Judy raised her three children with her husband, Jerry of 38 years in Malin, Ore., after which time she and Jerry moved to Bandon, Ore., where they bought an RV park and planned to make that their place of retirement. When their plans changed, they moved to Myrtle Creek, Ore., to be closer to their children.
Judy had a great sense of humor and was smiling and making others smile up to the very end. Her positive attitude was unbreakable, and her love for her husband and family was never questioned. She had a love of creating. Over the years, she did everything from painting a beautiful mural on their van to painting works of art on clothing. She loved her soap operas, crossword puzzles and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Rodgers; son, Glenn Harris of Reno, Nev.; daughter and son-in-law, Erika and Jaques Maritz of Roseburg, Ore.; son, Rocky Rodgers of Roseburg; step-daughter, Lisa and Rhett Broussard; step-son, Jerry Rodgers, Jr.; sister and brother-in-law, Marietta and Jim Campbell; sister, Denise Cosford; and multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
