Hugh J. Buchanan of Mount Laurel, NJ died on Saturday, May 28, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. Hugh was the son of George and Patricia (nee Earley) Buchanan and brother to James Buchanan all of whom are now with God. Hugh is survived by his loving siblings: Geri (John) Ambrose of Toms River NJ, Mary Buchanan of Maple Shade, NJ, George Buchanan of Mt. Laurel, NJ, Brian Buchanan of Long Beach, CA, Mathew Buchanan of Powder Springs, GA, Regina (David) Curry of Medford, NJ, Michael (Inga) Buchanan of Copenhagen, Denmark and David (Lisa) Buchanan.

Hugh was a kind soul. Everyone that ever met him, loved him. Hugh will be sadly missed by his family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday June 1, 10:00 am at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel. Interment will follow at Colestown Cemetery in Cherry Hill, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
