He was born October 6, 1953 to Manuel and Maria Gonzalez in Edinburg, Texas.
He married Marti Gonzalez in 1972 and Tina Gonzalez in 2000.
Cecil is survived by his wife, Tina; son Val Gonzalez and wife, Angela, Jeremy Gonzalez and wife Melissa, Sean Gonzalez,Jordan Gonzalez, and Zion Gonzalez; daughter, Dena Ortega; grandchildren, Val Gonzalez, Zaaron Gonzalez, Jimi Gon-zalez, Vincent Gonzalez, Dominic Gonzalez, Izaiah Ortega, Jacob Ortega, Zaili Ortega, Jaili Ortega, Angelica Ortega; brothers, Manuel Gonzalez, David Gonzalez; sisters, Janie Salas, Anna Ruth Palos; mother, Maria Gonzalez; and Marti Gonzalez.
He was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Gonzalez and his brother Raul Gonzalez.
Visitation will be Thursday January 23, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00pm in Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday January 24 at 10:00 am in Resthavens Abbey Chapel with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
