Sue A. Price, age 88, passed away on January 20, 2014.

She was born June 2, 1925 in Gadsden, Alabama, the youngest of three daughters, to John J. and Edna Mae Luther Amann.

She married David Elggren in Phoenix, Arizona and moved to Salt Lake City, where they had two children.

Sue attended North Phoenix High School and Phoenix Junior College. She also attended the University of Utah, majoring in Art. She was best known for her bronze and alabaster sculptures, oil paintings, and ceramics, and her works are part of many private collections over the United States, and have been exhibited in many public galleries. Sue joined David in activities such as snow skiing, water skiing, and golf, and she enjoyed travelling.

Sue and David later divorced, and she remarried Richard G. Price, both of whom have preceded her in death. Sue is also preceded in death by parents and her sister, Mary Patricia Amann. She is survived by her daughters, Cory Wahlberg (fiance, Ron Siegel) and Lisa Roy (Bill); and her granddaughter, April Rich (Wes).

Memorial services for Sue will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 2315 East Redondo Avenue (1975 South), Salt Lake City.
