The family requests that visitation be observed at Hixson Brothers, Alexandria Friday, January 24, 2014 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. and continued Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. A Rosary with be held in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria Friday at 6:30 p.m.
Mrs. Lambert, 90, of Alexandria, passed from this life on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Grace Home, Alexandria.
Throughout her life, she maintained a sweet and simple demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many, who even now are being changed by her witness of constant nurturing love and faith. She will be missed every day, but remembering the way she lived life will inspire us daily to be better people.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the love of her life of almost 70 years, Rufus V. Lambert; parents, Martinus L. Dubrock and Rosalie B. Bernard Dubrock; brothers, Gaston Dubrock, Edmond Dubrock and Sam Dubrock; sisters, Leonise Lacombe, Edith Armand and Eunice Dubrock.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Mickey Sue Ates and husband, Robert W. Sr.; sons, Martin Dale Lambert and wife, Randy Sue and Archie W. Lambert II and wife, Sheryl Ann; sister, Hazel Dupuy; 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Grace Home for the wonderful care they gave our beloved mother. Also her caregivers Judy, Shannon, Linda and Nell.
