Clara Pearl Heath Lang, 86, of Delmont, formerly of South Greensburg, died Monday, Nov. 16, 2009, at Ark Twin Valley Personal Care Home in Delmont. She was born Feb. 10, 1923, a daughter of the late James Harvey Jr. and Clara I. Betler Heath. Besides her parents, Clara was predeceased by a son, J. Harvey Lang; a brother, J. Harvey Heath III; and sister, Alice Hutton. Clara was a homemaker and also worked as a dietary aide at Westmoreland Regional Hospital until her retirement in 1986. She was a member of the South Greensburg United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the church choir, loved to square dance and was a member of the Alwine Civic Center. She is survived by her loving family; daughters, Alice Heasley and husband, John, of Salem Township, Janet Baird and husband, Gary, of Jeannette, and Clara Long and husband, Mark, of Jeannette; son, David Lang, of New Stanton; her loving grandchildren, Amy Thompkins and husband Chuck, Anna Keller and husband Brian, Jodi Pisula and husband Brian, Timothy and Trent Long; great-grandchildren, Sarah, Ryan and Kyle; and nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at BASH-NIED FUNERAL HOME, 152 Abbe Place, Delmont, 724-468-8381, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Richard Lindsay Bignell presiding. Interment services will follow at Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg. [email protected].
