Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00pm on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Oakdale Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Henderson, Rev. Mike Ware, Rev. Jimmy Andrews and Rev. Thomas Ward officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Sosebee Funeral Home on Friday from 11:00am until 9:00pm. Mrs. Jennings will lie-in-state at the church on Saturday from 12:00pm until 1:00pm.
Mrs. Jennings was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church and an advocate for Relay for Life. She enjoyed the outdoors and worked for the Bank of Canton for 18 years in Operations and Bookkeeping and for the Cherokee County Water and Sewage Authority.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Tim Jennings of Canton; children, Ryan Jennings and Christina Jennings both of Canton; siblings, Eddie (Sharon) Padgett and Lorie (John) Sanders all of Canton; uncles, Steve Padgett and Stanley Padgett; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Flowers will be accepted or in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Benefit Account at United Community Bank in memory of Deborah Jennings.
