J.C. Cowley age 74 of Bethpage passed away Thursday May 17, 2012. Funeral service will be Sunday, May 20, 2012 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Homel with Brother Tim Singleton officiating. Interment will be in Rock Bridge Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Friday May 18, from 5-7 p.m., Saturday May 19, from 2-8 p.m. and Sunday May 20, from 12-until time of service. Mr. Cowley was born on June 17, 1937 in Madison, Tennessee to the late George and Catherine Addie Carter Cowley. He is also preceded in death by his wife Nadine Baxter Cowley, four sisters, son-in-law Kenneth Lee Cook and great-grandchild Evan Cook. Mr. Cowley is survived by his sons, Danny Cowley (Christal) and Jimmy Cowley (Juanita) both of Bethpage, daughters, Tina Jobs (David) of Castalian Springs, Gena Cook (Rick) of Castalian Springs, Angie Bernier (Paul) of Hendersonville, and Lisa Williams of Gallatin, brothers George Edward Cowley (Agnes) of Smyrna, and Eugene Cowley (Joan) of Greenbrier, sisters Betty Ann Butts (Jesse) of Hendersonville, and Gladys Louise McPhearson (Joe) of Antioch, grandchildren Chris Schneider, Jamie Cowley, Sharina Williams, Buddy Williams, Jr., Josh Cook, Andy Jobs, Troy Cook, Neil Cook, Stephanie Cook, James Lee Cowley, Crystal Cowley, Brenna Brooks, and Jerod Waldrep, great-grandchildren Taylor Cowley, Jaycee Cowley, Jesse Lee, William Likens, Isaac Likens, Buddy Williams III, Braylon Cowley, Hailey Cowley, Emma Cook, Devan Cook, Ryan Cook, Kourtney Cook.
