Wanda George, age 89 of Mountain Home, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2014 in Gassville. She was born February 12, 1924 in Mountain Home to John B. and Pearl W. (Cox) Skiver. She married Ray George on December 23, 1939 in Mountain Home. She was a member of the East Oakland Baptist Church of Mountain Home.

Wanda George is survived by a son and his wife, Bill and Karen George of Warrensburg, Missouri, grandchildren Julie George of Grandview, Missouri and William George II stationed aboard the USS Denver, five great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, January 26, 2014 at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel. A Visitation with the family receiving friends will be held one hour prior to the service on Sunday. Interment will be in the East Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the East Oakland Cemetery.
