Alice was born to Joseph and Olivia Busch and she is a descendant of LDS Utah pioneers. Alice first married Wendell Dale Lemmons and they had three kids together 1. Dale Eugene Lemmons 2. Patricia Lemmons 3. Judy Lynn Lemmons. Alice and Wendell were divorced in 1953 and she married her second husband Jim Bertschy and their child together was Robert James "Bobbie" Bertschy. They began their lives together in Idaho, but moved to Coos Bay, Oregon. Here they would watch their grandchildren grow. Alice was a devoted mother and loved her children and grandchildren dearly. Her grandchildren are Miki, Jimmy, Cheryl, Lori, Michael, Carrie, Lisa, John, Brandon, Timmy, and Brent. Alice was a wonderful cook who made amazing pies that would just melt in your mouth. Her home was a place of fun and good eats for her grandchildren's favorite foods like dill pickles, colby cheese, and Jiffy peanut butter. She put out an amazing holiday spread for all her kids and grand kids to enjoy. Alice loved listening to country music, drinking coffe, dancing with her husband Jim, and having fun. She had a wild and fun spirit full of life. She could give a person quite the tongue lashing if they messed with her kids! She is dearly loved and truly missed to this very day and will live on forever in the hearts of her children and grandchildren. In 1990 Alice married a third time to Robert "Bob" Choat. Bob and Alice hade lots of fun traveling and going out dancing and she loved Bob dearly. We love and miss you Grandma.
