Upon moving to the King City area, Marilyn met her devoted husband John. They were married in 1968 and raised their 4 children together. Marilyn was employed for many years with Bank of America and later retired to enjoy a relaxing life with her husband. She was regularly seen around town taking her walk and then meeting up with her husband to have their morning coffee. Marilyn loved to garden, bake, go antique shopping, and spend time with her family; she especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports.
She is survived by her loving husband, John; daughter Laurie (Eliseo) Martinez; sons, Lee (Vickie) Warner, Jeff (Julie) Warner, and Daniel (Diana) Bryan; grandchildren Vanessa Partida, Christopher Martinez, Caroline Martinez, Jesse Warner, Julie Warner, David Warner, Jennifer (Tobin) Vigil, Michelle (Dale) Robinson, Jeremy (Kimberly) Bryan, Ashley (Brian)Martin; great grandchildren Avery Vigil, Dale Robinson Jr., Ellie Robinson, Maddox Martin; sister Bette Greenberg; brother Robert Boyens; and a number of nieces and nephews. Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents Max and Virginia Boyens.
A private family graveside service will be held at the King City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hospice VNA and the Visiting Nurses Association.
