Victoria Jean Overton, formerly of Granbury, passed away Jan. 13, 2014 in Rosalia, Wash. She was 60.
Graveside services: Rock Creek Cemetery, Glen Rose on Saturday, Jan. 25 at 2 p.m.
The oldest of five children; Victoria was born Oct. 1, 1953 in Dallas to Herbert and Doris (Meazle) Hamilton. She grew up in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and graduated high school there.
Victoria married J.D. Overton Jr. They made their home in Granbury where J.D. worked in concrete and construction businesses and Victoria kept busy as a homemaker and mother. Victoria was dedicated to her family and wrapped her life around caring for them.
Mr. Overton passed away in 2008 and shortly thereafter, Victoria moved to Rosalia, Wash. to be closer to her daughter. She really enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, too.
Surviving are her daughter Annettee Babb and her husband, Brody of Rosalia; three grandchildren, Ashley of Montana and Zachary and Alyssa both of Rosalia; two brothers, Michael Hamilton, Clarence Hamilton; and a sister, Janie Pruitt all in Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a sister, Virginia and her parents.
