Eloise "Dolly" Brown Lucas was born in Lamar County, Alabama on November 15, 1931 to Burlie & Della Black Brown. She married Earnest Lucas on July 30, 1949 in Columbus, Mississippi. Dolly & Earnest raised 3 children: Ruby Dean who married David McCarty, Earnestine "Teenie" who married Mike McCarty & Lewis Wade who first married Jackie Hughes and later Donna Flatt. Dolly was a hard working, loving & kind person. She spent most of her life in Beaverton, Alabama. The last several years she lived in Sherman ( near Tupelo ) Mississippi. Dolly passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at her residence in Sherman Mississippi.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, January 26, 2014 at 2:00 pm from Otts Funeral Home Chapel with graveside service and burial to follow in Love Joy Cemetery. Bro. Randall Tice will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6-9pm.
