Harriet Dennis Mecham

Life began on December 10, 1916 and ended June 20, 2004.

Born in Richfield, Utah to Jeremiah Dennis and Josephine Heslington Dennis. Married Marcellus D. Mecham (Curley) on July 27, 1935. He died on Sept. 3, 1975. Marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were blessed with six children.

Mom was a wonderful mother, loving wife and avid gardener who worked hard all her life and was always doing for others. Mom set a good example for her children to follow.

She was active in the LDS church and worked for many years in the Salt Lake and Jordan River Temples.

Survived by her children, M. Dee (Tommy) Mecham, Colleen (Douglas) Eldredge, Luella Marie (Chuck) Kreautler, Clifford Earl Mecham, Linda Jo (Daniel) Summers, Hattie Brenda (Jesse) Wood and her brother Tad (Betty) Dennis, 30 grandchildren, 61 great grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 25 at 12:00 p.m. Friends may call Thursday, June 24 from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services at Larkin Sunset Gardens at 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, Utah.

The family would like to thank V & L Senior Care Center in Loa, Utah for all the kind, loving care she received.
