BELLEVILLE -- Henry J. Blecha, 98, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014, in Belleville. He was born July 3, 1915, in Munden, the son of August Blecha and Christina (Horak) Blecha.

He was united in marriage to Mildred Zach on Nov. 8, 1941. He was a lifelong farmer and dairy farmer. He was a member of St. George's Catholic Church in Munden.

He was preceded in death by his parents, August and Christina Blecha; daughter, Rita (Blecha) Sulzen; sister, Elizabeth Kuhlman; and one brother, Charles Blecha.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred Blecha, of Belleville; daughter, Janice (Mark) Keeley, of Tahlequah, Okla.; two sons, Donald (Margaret) Blecha, of Valley Center, and Kelvin (Marcia) Blecha, of Chester, Neb.; son-in-law, Richard Sulzen, of Shawnee; nine grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and six great-grand-children.

Visitation Jan. 18 & 19 at Bachelor-Surber Chapel in Belleville. Vigil and rosary service Sunday, Jan. 19, at the funeral home.

Mass of Christian Burial Monday, Jan. 20, at St. George's Catholic Church in Munden. Interment in St. George's Catholic Cemetery in rural Munden.
