Barbara Perry Larkin returned peacefully to her Heavenly Father on August 28, 2006. She was born in Willard, Utah, on July 28, 1919, the fifth of nine children. Barbara is a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She had a zest for life that was contagious. She loved her Heavenly Father and served in many church callings. Barbara loved being a wife and mother. She was continuously teaching others, and taught elementary school in Snowville and Howell in two-room schoolhouses. Mom was an avid reader, gardener, and homemaker. Her eternal companion, Thomas F. Larkin, eight children and their spouses, 27 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and three sisters survive her. Services will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2006, at the Crescent Stake Center, 10945 South 1700 East in Sandy at 11:00 a.m. Viewing will be held Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy and from 9:30-10:30 Saturday morning at the Stake Center.
