Lee Roy Stanley, 85 of Ecorse, Michigan, died July 4, 2011 at his home. He was born in Pike County, Kentucky on June 19, 1926, a son of the late Willie and Gracie (Hinkle) Stanley. He served in World War II and was a Military Police during the Nuremburg Trials in Germany. He is survived by his wife, Billie (King) Troutt Stanley, one daughter, Loretta Hunt, one grandson, Jason Hunt, and three great-grandchildren, Anna Hunt, Christopher Hunt and Emily Hunt. He is survived by four sisters, Margaret Young, Betty Maynard, Nancy Irene Stanley, and Mary (James) Burke all of Varney, Ky; Two brothers, Ezra Stanley (Virginia) of Lincoln Park, Michigan and Larry Stanley (Anita) of Pike County, Ky. Roy was preceded in death by his first wife, Edna Mae (Cline) Stanley, five brothers, John, Oliver and Goble and two infants and stepmother, Mary Stanley. Burial followed in the Michigan Memorial Cemetery in Flatrock, Michigan.
