Bruce R. Vincent, 51, of Westminster, died peacefully on Sunday, January 19, 2014, after a six-year, courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease.

Bruce was born in Fitchburg, on May 31, 1962, a son of the late Theresa (Valliere) Vincent.
He graduated from Oakmont Regional High School, in 1980; in 1981 he and Cindy were married. Bruce coached his sons and daughter in baseball and basketball. He opened Vincent's Country Store in 1992, serving the community and worked at the store until 2012, when he sold the business to his son Brian. In 2008, he was named Westminster Businessman of the year. Bruce loved working at the store, helping every customer he came in contact with. He loved his church, playing volleyball, traveling, anything to do with cars, and spending time with his family and friends. Bruce was kind, generous, courageous, hard-working, giving, and had a great sense of humor. He would do anything for anyone without being asked or wanting recognition for what he had done. He would do anything for his community.

Bruce fought a courageous fight against Alzheimer's disease for the last six years. He was very involved with the Alzheimer's Association in raising money and awareness for the disease. His family is finding comfort in knowing that Bruce has been restored to perfect health, and has gone to Heaven to be with his Creator. He wouldn't want us to be sad or grieve, but to rejoice knowing that he is at peace and is Home.
