Earl Lee Duncan, 67, of Wooster, died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014 at the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center in Cleveland following a lengthy illness.
Earl was born Aug. 28, 1946 in Fredericksburg to the late Charles and Emma (Haines) Duncan and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1965 – 1968. He had worked for 20 years at the Gerstenslager Company in Wooster and had made his home in the Fredericksburg and Wooster area. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling and metal detecting.
Surviving are his former wife Martha Duncan of Wooster; his four children, Edward (Betsy) Duncan, Frederick (Brandie) Duncan, Angela Dye and Michelle Edgell and Jennifer Duncan; 14 grandchildren and a great-grandchild; a sister Carol Haven and brothers Kenneth Duncan, Harold Duncan and Carl Duncan and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Linda Duncan in 2008; a grandson Bryan; 2 brothers Paul and Charles “Bill” Duncan and 3 sisters Ruth Summerville, Evelyn Edwards and Marjorie Dawson.
