five brothers and three sisters: Sgt. Donald Long in the Army in Korea; Lyle Long of Gresham, WI; Ardell (Mrs. Ben McManus) of St. Louis, MO; Alger of California; Forrest of Valparaiso, Indiana; Mrs. Edith Wilber of Milwaukee, WI; Mildred Long of Milwaukee, WI and Millard in the Army at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO.
His father, Millard, Sr. (Phil) Long, died in 1949.
Rites were held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Gaffney Funeral Home at Gresham with Rev. N. Rehwinkel officiating. Burial was at the Forest Home Cemetery, Wittenberg, where military rites were held at the graveside by the American Legion Post of Gresham.
