Kevin Pearce, 38, of Norris City passed away at 1:38 a.m., Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. He was born on January 22, 1975 in Carmi, IL the son of Michael G. and Lavina M. (Flatt) Pearce. Kevin was a 1993 graduate of Norris City Enfield Omaha High School and worked at Huck's in Carmi. He was a Christian, enjoyed reading the bible, drawing, taking pictures and building things, and loved his cats.

Kevin is survived by his parents, Michael and Lavina Pearce of Norris City; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and John Simms of Albion; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Jonathan and Samantha Pearce of Norris City and Joshua Pearce of Cedar Rapids, IA; two nieces, Rheanna Pearce and Becca Pearce; and two nephews, Dalton Pearce and Tyler Falconbury.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Henry B. and Emmalouise Flatt; paternal grandparents, Tracy and Josephine Pearce; a niece, Isabella Josephine Pearce; his aunt, Sally Pearce and a cousin Aimee Pearce.

Funeral Services for Kevin Pearce, 38, of Norris City will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City with Joe Skaggs officiating. Burial will be in Herald Cemetery near Norris City. Friends may call at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Memorial Contributions may be made to Campbell Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
