"We love you Dad"

Our beloved husband, father, son, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend returned home with honor to his Heavenly Father on July 29, 2003 after a long, valiant battle with melanoma cancer. J.D. lived his life as a humble servant to his Heavenly Father, his example touched many lives. His most valued and treasured blessings were his wife and best friend Sharon, his children Tyler, Cameron, Tanner, Connor and Sarah "little princess", his family. He loved life and the gospel with all his heart, might, mind and soul. "Families are forever." He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

J.D. was born April 24, 1960 in Salt Lake City, Utah to J. Donald and Dorothy M. Anderson Poulsen. J.D. married Sharon Lee Smith on September 7, 1983 in the Salt Lake Temple.

He is survived by his parents, three sisters: Penny (Allen) Watson, Patsy Halladay, Emily (Brady) Bartholomew. He is also survived by loving in-laws and many nieces and nephews.

J.D. loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting, ATV riding, boating at Lake Powell and snowmobiling at the cabin with family and friends and always a good "ball game".

J.D. served an LDS mission in the Canada Halifax Mission and served in many church callings. He had a deep love for his Savior Jesus Christ.

His family expresses great appreciation for the kindness and support extended by Anderson/Stock Builders.
