John C. Coulson, 70, of 929 Lafayette St., Lancaster, died at home Wednesday morning after a three-month illness.
He was the husband of Margaret Groff Coulson of Lancaster. The couple celebrated their 43rd anniversary last May.
Born in Little Britain Township, he was the son of the late Kersey McVey and Edith Reynolds Coulson. He was reared by foster parents, the late Abram and Alice Huber.
Coulson was a superintendent of Lancaster Cemetery until his illness.
