Arthur Shakeshaft
Arthur Taylor Shakeshaft, fifty, died Sunday afternoon at his home at 1029 Webster. Born in Topeka November 4, 1895, he was a graduate of Topeka schools and attended Washburn College. In World War I he served with the Washburn Ambulance Company.
He was a member of Grace Cathedral and Kappa Sigma Fraternity, and had been employed by the Santa Fe as an assistant engineer.
The son of the late Richard Shakeshaft, he is survived by his widow, Mrs. Marian Shakeshaft, of the home; sons, Richard D. and Alston J., Topeka; sister, Miss Gwen Shakeshaft, Long Beach, Calif.; brother, John E. Shakeshaft, Riverside, Calif.; and an uncle, E.J. Shakeshaft, Topeka.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
