James "Jim" Pedersen was born June 12, 1967, in Fargo, to Don and Wanda Pedersen. Due to his dad's employment, Jim's childhood was spent in various cities throughout North Dakota. After graduation from Dickinson High School in 1985, he moved to Reno, Nev. After a few short months, Jim decided to move back to North Dakota where he met Joan Koth. It was love at first sight for both of them, and they were married Dec. 7, 1990. To this union one daughter, Britni, was born.
In 1995, the family moved to Eden Prairie, where Jim spent the remainder of his life as a union painter. Jim had a love of all sports which he thoroughly enjoyed sharing with his dad.
Jim is survived by his wife, Joan, and daughter, Britni; his parents, Donald and Wanda Pedersen; two sisters, Nicole Pedersen, and Dawnell Hettich, Bismarck; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Armilda Kummer and Bud and Erma Pedersen; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
