Evelyn Barr, the three-year-old daughter of H. W. Barr, of Wasa, died at the Cottage Hospital last Saturday within three hours after she arrived, having been hurried in after being accidentally burned while at the farm about twenty-five miles from Cranbrook. When she arrived at the hospital and the doctor was summoned it was found that she was very seriously burned. The accident is supposed to have been caused from playing with matches. Funeral services were held at the Barr residence at Wasa on the Sabbath morning and were conducted by Mr. J. A. Walker, M.A., of Fort Steele. Mr. Barr has the sympathy of a large circle of Cranbrook friends, who sincerely sympathize with him in his sad loss.
