Mrs. Jan C. Nash, 44, of Grantville, died Friday, Sept. 6, 2002, at Atlanta Medical Center.

Mrs. Nash was born Nov. 27, 1957, in Coweta County to the late Harper Glen Connally and the late Odessa Colquitt Connally. She was a 1976 graduate of Newnan High School, a graduate of Griffin Technical College, and a licensed practical nurse. Mrs. Nash was a former employee of The Brian Center in LaGrange, Beaulieu Convalescent Center, and Life Screen, Inc., and was co-owner of Nash Florist in Grantville. She was a member of St. George Catholic Church, the Legion of Mary, and the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

A funeral was held Sunday, Sept. 8, 2002, in the chapel of the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral home. Father Stephen Lyness officiated, and burial was in the Grantville Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were Tony Tucker, Joe Cebulski, Bradley Rutledge, Ricky Thrash, Tim McGruder, Sal Messina, and Dave Corbett.

Surviving are her husband, Hugh R. Nash of Grantville; sisters June Rutledge of Newnan and Kay Manning of Arlington, Texas; brothers Glen Connally Jr. and Walker Connally, both of Newnan; mother-in-law and father-in-law June and Robert Nash of Grantville; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. George Catholic Church.
