Craig Alan Barnes, age 56, was born September 9, 1955 in South Bend, Indiana to the union of Joseph and Vera Lee (Shorter) Barnes, who both preceded him in death along with a brother, Joseph Barnes and a nephew, Derrick Scaggs.
Mr. Barnes passed away at 1:48 a.m. on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, ndiana. He received Christ at an early age. He loved to cook and he was a great father, brother and uncle who love to be with his family.
Craig leaves to cherish his memories three children, Anita Jones of Detroit, MI, Monique Jones of Baltimore, MD, and Craig Fletcher of Las Vegas, NV; 16 grandchildren; three sisters, Lena Eaton of South Bend, Laura Scaggs & Valerie Barnes both of Chicago, IL; one brother, Curtis L. Barnes; one auntie, Amy (Robert) Baker all of South Bend, along with a host of other relatives and relatives.
