GALION: KAREN D. HINES, 64, of Galion, died unexpectedly Sunday, January 19, 2014 at the Galion Community Hospital, Galion.
Karen was born in Galion on December 14, 1949 to the late Richard D. Zeger and Mary L. (Freeman) Wintermute, who survives in Galion. She married Earl D. Hines on April 24, 1970 and he preceded her in death on May 7, 2003.
Karen was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a member of the Class of 1968, Northmor High School, Galion. She was a member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. Karen enjoyed sewing, quilting and cooking. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her mother, Mary L. Wintermute, her son Gregory D. Hines, Lexington, her daughter Krystal & David Drumm, Galion, and her two granddaughters Sara Drumm and Emilie Drumm.
She was preceded in death by her father Richard D. Zeger.
