Clara Alice Mack-Rodgers, 72, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014, at her home.

Mrs. Rodgers was born May 12, 1941, in Linden, Texas. She was retired from Day & Zimmerman and a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a deaconess, Sunday school teacher and former choir member.

Survivors include her husband, Floyd H. Rodgers of Texarkana; one son, Kevin D. Rodgers of Las Vegas; one daughter, Yolonda Rodgers-Watkins of Texarkana; one brother, Felo Mack Jr. of Houston; four grandchildren, Krystal Nichole Roberts and Dorian Patrick Rodgers of Las Vegas, Ashley Nichole Rowe of Wake Village, Texas, and Alexis Nichole Hunt of Texarkana; and two great-grandchildren, LaBrea Nichole Rowe of Wake Village and Elijah James Roberts of Las Vegas.

Closed casket services will be 11 a.m. at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Leslie Brembry officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the mortuary.
