Mr. Louis E. Fabian, 94, of Joliet, Illinois, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Thursday, April 16, 2009, at Kindred Hospital in Sycamore.
He was a member of the St. Francis Lodge No. 29, Will County Carpenters Local 174, KSKJ, an ardent White Sox fan and an usher at St. Ambrose Church for many years.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 72 years, Doris (Williamson) Fabian of Joliet; three children, Gordon (Darlene) Fabian of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Glen (Carolyn) Fabian, Lynne (Jerry) Audette, both of Joliet; grandchildren, Terri Lou (Troy) Arment of Wichita, Kansas, Paul (Mary) Fabian of Golden Valley, Minn., Pam (Matt) Harrison of Plano, Texas, Gary Fabian of Iowa City, Iowa, Angi Fabian of Des Moines, Iowa, Ed (Karen) Fabian of Morris, Cindy (Jim) Olznoi of Shorewood and Madison Audette of Joliet; great-grandchildren, Cassandra and Thomas Fabian, Dan (Carly), Gregg, Michael and Christopher Harrison, Tyler and Masie Olznoi. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Fabian; brothers, Joseph (Mary) and Anton (Eva) Fabian; sisters, Mayme (Tony) Russ and Ann (Joe) Piskur.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, April 20, 2009, from Tezak's Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet, to St. Ambrose for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10 a.m.
Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville.
Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Sunday, April 19, at Tezak's Funeral Home.
