PATRICIA A. JERNIGAN, 70, passed away Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014 at her home in Roanoke. Born in Charleston, S.C., Patricia was in the banking industry for 51 years having worked with Lake City Bank in Warsaw and Wells Fargo in Fort Wayne for 25 years before retiring in 2012. She was actively involved in the 4-H, Girl Scouts, and was a Junior Achievement Mentor. "Patricia was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family." Surviving are her son, Marc (Wendy) Jernigan of Roanoke; grandsons, Bryce, Isaac, and Chase Jernigan; brother, Michael Cox of Warsaw; and sister-in-law, Patricia Cox of Warsaw. She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Elnora Cox. Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014 at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road.
