Mildred Lemons Lucas, 96, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001.
A graveside service for Mrs. Lucas will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2001, in Forest Lawn Cemetery, with the Rev. Robert L. Cable officiating.
Mrs. Lucas was born in Rockingham County, to John and Elizabeth Harrison Lemons and had been a resident of Greensboro the past 70 years. She was a member of Lees Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lacy Lee Lucas.
She is survived by her son and wife, Lacy and Emily Lucas Jr. of Greensboro; sister, Bronna L. Murray of Greensboro; grandchildren, Beth L. Smith of Greensboro, Barry Lucas of Greensboro and Greg Lucas of Charlotte; and three great-grandchildren.
