A longtime resident of Horseheads, NY passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the age of 94. He is pre-deceased by his wife, Winifred Gordon; sister, Harriet Everett; sisters-in-law and family matriarch, Barbara Ottey, and Idalene Richards. Edwin is survived by his son, Gary French; twin brother, Edward French; sister-in-law, Wilma Gillard; three nephews, Kevin French, George Everett and Robert Everett. The family will welcome relatives and friends to a Funeral Service at First United Methodist Church, 1034 W. Broad St., Horseheads, NY on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 11AM. The Rev. Rhonda Kouterick will officiate. Edwin will be laid to rest along side his wife Winifred in Woodlawn Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
