Born in Soper, Oklahoma, on July 23, 1931, Anita was the daughter of Andrew Jackson McKee and Sarah Beatrice (Butler) McKee.
She was a member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and Little Cypress Baptist Church. Anita loved shopping but her all-time favorite activity was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Pauline Crouch; brother, Thomas McKee; and nephew, Charles Crouch.
Anita is survived by her husband of 66 years, Clois Jay; sons, Greg Jay, Donnie Jay and wife, Pat, Joey Jay and wife, Nikki; daughter, Gayla Roberts; brother, Stanley McKee; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Burial: Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery, West Orange, Texas.
