Sheila Diane Jenkins, 54, of Athens, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014. She was a member of Rogers Creek Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Margie Jenkins; brothers, William, Cecil, Kenneth and Harold Jenkins; and sister, Dorris Ann Jenkins.

She is survived by her brothers, Robert Jenkins of Georgetown, Richard and his wife, Ann Jenkins, of Athens, and Ernest Jenkins of Athens; sister, Martha Lewallen of Grandview; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Bowers Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Jenkins and the Rev. Vonell Lewallen officiating.

Interment will be in Decatur Cemetery following the service. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Dean Jenkins, Jason McElhaney, Boyd Reed, Danny Jenkins, Jacob Lewallen, Wallace Jenkins and Dale McDowan.

Bowers Funeral Home of Decatur is in charge of arrangements.
