Janie B. Stevens, 77, of Athens, died January 15, 2014.
She is survived by her children Gary, Shurletta, Obie Dianne, Thomas and Demetrius Stevens, Phyllis Bradford and Sadie Jones; her siblings, Martha Stevens, Al and Catherine Mathews, Celestine Dowdy and Sarah Howard; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A viewing will be held on Monday, January 20, 2014 from 12-7 p.m. at Jones Funeral Chapel.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at New Bethlehem Baptist Church with interment held at the church cemetery.
Jones Funeral Chapel, Crawford, is in charge of arrangements.
