DELHI, March 21 (Special) — Mrs. E. W. Chapman, 79, died at a local clinic here Sunday.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the First Methodist church with Rev. Don Wineinger officiating. Interment, under the direction of Catron-Gay Funeral home, will be in the Masonic cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, five sons, Clyde Chapman, of San Antonio; Clifton Chapman, Delhi; Ira Chapman, Memphis; Russell Chapman, Stelle, Mo.; and Carey Chapman, Memphis; four daughters, Mrs. Emma McKenzie, Memphis; Mrs. Bertha Taylor, Dechard, Tenn.; Mrs. J. D. Upton, Delhi; Mrs. Margaret Davis, Dallas; one brother, Charles Russell, Florence, Miss.; four sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Riddle, of Brandon, Miss.; Mrs. Grace Howard, Miss Bertha Russell, and Mrs. Kathleen Chambers, all of Grand Rapids, Mich.; 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Vaughn Thornton, Guy McLain, G. W. Jones, Roy Till, Roy W. McIntyre, and James H. Bullock.
