Rites Today For Banker In Nelson - J.B. Irvin, former Farm Bureau Officer - The funeral for James B. Irvin, Nelson County landowner and banker, will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Spicer, McAfee & Adam Funeral Home at Bloomfield. He died Friday night at Flaget Memorial Hospital here. In ill health for several years, he had suffered a stroke Tuesday at his home in Bloomfield.

Had Store Business - He was vice-president and director of Peoples State Bank at Chaplin. He was a native of Nelson County. Irvin had been in the store business at Bloomfield and Chaplin. Irvin was a member of Bloomfield Baptist Church and the Lions Club and once was vice-president of the Nelson County Farm Bureau.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sarah A. Trent Irvin; a daughter, Mrs. Irvin Westerman, Milwaukee, and two grandchildren.
