Irvin was a member of Bloomfield Baptist Church and the Lions Club and once was vice-president of the Nelson County Farm Bureau.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sarah A. Trent Irvin; a daughter, Mrs. Irvin Westerman, Milwaukee, and two grandchildren.
