Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon in the chapel of the Smith Funeral Home for Barney H. Jackson, 69, with Rev. Powell Smith, Christian minister, officiating, and interment was in the Garden of Memories. Mr. Jackson died Monday at the Veteran's Hospital. He was a native of Sidney and was a retired ranchman. He was a veteran of World War One and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. After his health had failed he and his wife moved to Kerrville and resided on Sidney Baker Street. He is survived by his wife, of the home address; three children; Mrs. C. F. Hammonds, El Paso; Miss Jo Jackson, Dallas; and William C. Jackson of London, England. One sister and three brothers also survive.
