Charlotte Rae Crawford Stone, 73, of Lynchburg died Wednesday, December 4, 2013.

Born in Newport News on October 31, 1940 a daughter of the late Adrian Edward Crawford and the late Dorothy Dudley Crawford. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was an active member of Peakland Baptist Church and a volunteer at the Lynchburg Food Pantry.

She is survived by George H. Stone, Sr., three daughters: Leslie Stone Willman and husband, Thomas, Christie Stone Geraty and husband Kevin, Laura Stone Bailey and husband, Larry Jr., a son: Tuffy Stone and wife, Leslie; a sister: Susan Dudley Crawford and seven grandchildren: Adrian, Annie, Kelsey, Marykate, Sam, Ben and Liam. She is also survived by her special white cat, Lilly, Crybaby and an abundance of friends.

Charlotte was loved by all who met her and "GaGa" to her grandchildren. Charlotte was a big supporter of The Virginia Lotto and others. She did everything she could to promote 7-Elevens, spending much of her time cheering up their staff with her humor and smile. She will be deeply missed. We love you!! CharRae.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday December 9, 2013 at Peakland Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Hunter officiating. The family will receive friends after the service in the fellowship hall.
