Mr. Homer Lawrence Allison, Jr., age 75, born August 3, 1938, entered into rest January 14, 2014 at Grove Hill Memorial Hospital. Mr. Allison was a native of Marysville, TN and resident of Grove Hill, AL. He was a member of Tompkins Baptist Church. Mr. Allison was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force from which he retired after serving 20 years. Mr. Allison had also worked for the Alabama Department of Transportation for 20 years as a Highway Maintenance Technician. He then worked at Wal-Mart in Thomasville, AL as a People Greeter.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Tompkins Baptist Church, Grove Hill, AL. Service will be Friday, January 17, 2014 at Tompkins Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Johnny Kendrick officiating. Interment will follow in Tompkins Baptist Cemetery.
