BAKER Carey James Carey James Baker, 44 years, of Toledo, OH passed away Friday, January 17, 2014, in his home. He had worked at the Winn Dixie stores as a stock clerk. The son of Beverly Eileen Baker Toda, he was born February 22, 1969, in Toledo. Carey was a 1987 graduate of the D.E.C.A. (Distributive Education Classes of America) Program at Bedford High School. He had wished to continue his education in marketing but a tragic car accident in 1989 left him permanently disabled. Carey enjoyed baseball, golf, bowling, and helping his grandfather on the family farm. He liked to play board games, especially Monopoly and Trivial Pursuit. He enjoyed listening to his favorite country band, Alabama. He loved his family and always looked forward to spending time with them. He is survived by his loving mother, Beverly Toda; sisters, Shelly (Larry) Bayes, MaLinda (Kim) Rucki; brother, Doug (Jennifer) Toda, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, David and Eileen Baker and stepfather, Donald E. Toda. Visitation will be Monday, January 20, 2014, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. in Urbanski's Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Avenue, Temperance, MI where the Funeral Service will be at 7 p.m. Graveside service will be Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at 11 a.m. in Wolfinger Cemetery, Berkey, OH.
