DEATH OF MRS. J. B. RUTE.
Mrs. John B. RUTE died at her home in Salona on Thursday morning at 6 o'clock of a complication of diseases, aged 74 years on January last. Deceased was the daughter of the late Levi SNOOK, of Brush Valley, Centre County, and has resided in Lamar Township since 1883. She is survived by her husband, one son, Thomas E. RUTE, of Iowa; three daughters, Sadie E., wife of Rev. Ira E. SPANGLER, of Milton; Mrs. Matthew B MILLER, of Salona, and Mrs. Maurice E. BRUNGARD, also of Salona. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. COURTER, of this city, and a number of grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at her late residence at 2 o'clock this afternoon by Rev. ROSS. Interment was made in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
