Funeral services for Mrs. Stella Margaret Huddleston Cantrell, age 90, of Jefferson City, TN and formerly of Overton County will be conducted at 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at First Christian Church in Livingston with Rev. Dee Wells and Dr. David Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Overton County Memorial Gardens in Livingston. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Cantrell passed away January 17, 2014 at Fort Sanders Hospital in Knoxville. She was born May 25, 1923 in Pickett County to the late Oren Thomas and Nannie Isabell Winningham Huddleston. She was an elementary school principal in Battle Creek, Michigan.

She was a member of First Christian Church in Livingston.

She is survived by a son, Troy Cantrell & wife, Jackie of Dandridge, TN; daughter, Tuttie Knowles aka Claudine of Knoxville; brothers, Jack Huddleston & wife, Ina Ruth of Celina and R. G. Huddleston of Livingston; a sister, Carlene Wright of Muncie, IN; 3 grandchildren, Scott Thomas Knowles, Elizabeth Ann Swindeman, & Christopher William Cantrell; and 4 great-grandchildren, Elena Swindeman, Jackson Johnathan Garrett, Isabell Ann Swindeman, & Evelyn Rose Swindeman.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband: William Claude Cantrell, grandson: Charles Knowles, III, brother: Floyd Huddleston, and sister: Aletha Almonrode.

Serving as pallbearers are Dr. Charlie Huddleston, Chris Huddleston, Matt Huddleston, Levi Franklin, David Brady, & Brad Huddleston.

Memorial contributions in honor of Mrs. Cantrell may be made to the First Christian Church in Livingston.
