Funeral services for April Dion Thomas,9, of Watson (Desha County), who died June 7, 1993, at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at the Watson District Headquarters in Mitchellville with the Rev. Andrew Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Porter Cemetery at Watson by Brown Funeral Home of Dumas.
Born January 16, 1984, at Little Rock, she was a daughter of James and Norma Phillips Thomas Sr. of Little Rock.
A third-grade student at Delta Elementary School, she was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church.
Other survivors include a brother, James Thomas Jr. of Watson; a sister, Tamara Nicole Thomas of Watson; her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Phillips of Watson; and her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ephrene Thomas.
The family will be at the home.
