Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday at Lowe Funeral Home in Quitman. Burial: Concord Cemetery in Wood County. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home
Mr. Caffey was born Oct. 28, 1919, in Wood County, where he spent most of his life. He was a member of Humble Baptist Church in Mineola.
Survivors: Wife of 59 years, Eddie Caffey of Mineola; son and daughter-in-law, Virgil D. and Karla Caffey of Mineola; daughters and son-in-law, Helen Sue and Gerald Guess of Boyd, and Carol Jo Hamilton of Springtown; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
