Jeffrey Clifton "Jeff" Austin, 42, of Grenada, passed away Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, at The University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was born on July 14, 1971, in Grenada, to Jimmy and Frances Dixon Austin. He was employed at Austin's Auto Repair as a technician and enjoyed riding motorcycles. He attended Friendship Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held Monday, Jan. 13, from 5-7 p.m., at Garner Harper Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Jan. 14, at 2 p.m., at Friendship Baptist Church with Dr. Bob Self officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Gardens.
He is survived by his wife, Jodie Koonce Austin of Grenada; his parents, Jimmy and Frances Austin of Grenada; daughters, McKenzie Austin, Anna Gail Austin, Jessica Nail Willis, and Heather Nail, all of Grenada; and one brother, Chris Austin of Grenada. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Carter Willis and Axel Montgomery, both of Grenada.
The family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
