Funeral services for Frances Jean McNeal Adams, 69, of Holcomb, are at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, at Sweet Home A.M.E. Church. Burial will follow in St. Peter Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. at Clark-Williams Funeral Home.
Mrs. Adams died Jan. 8, 2014, in Jackson of a myocardial infarction.
She was born on Oct.1, 1944, and was the daughter of the late Lawrence McNeal and Louise Topps Love of Holcomb.
Mrs. Adams had been retired since 1985. She was a member of Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church in Oxberry where she served as a class leader, choir member, Sunday school teacher, missionary president, stewardess, trustee board member, conference delegate, and treasurer. She enjoyed singing, fishing and cooking.
Surviving Mrs. Adams are two daughters, Gloria Marsh and Mary Ross of Jackson; three sons, Lawrence Adams of Vicksburg, Tony Adams of Holcomb and Tyrone Adams of McDonough, Ga.; four sisters, Freddie Johnson of North LaGrange, Ill., Margaret Thompson-Blackmon of North Carolina, Dorothy Plane of Bellwood, Ill., and Ermar Logan of Grenada; two brothers, Larry McNeal of Tampa, Fla., and Eddie Lawrence McNeal of Grenada.
Clark-Williams Funeral Home is in charge.
