Roslyn E. Williams of Newark, NJ, peacefully passed away on Jan. 14, 2014.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014, at 11:00 AM at Shiloh Baptist Church, 99 Davenport Ave, Newark, NJ. Visitation is on Tuesday, Jan 21, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Woody "Home For Services," 163 Oakwood Ave, Orange, NJ. Interment is at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield, NJ.
Born in East Orange, NJ, Mrs. Williams was employed by the U.S. Postal Service, Kearny, NJ, for many years before her retirement.
She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Edward Williams Jr.; her beloved children, Edward Williams III and Christina E. Williams; devoted siblings, Karen Hemmings, Ronnie Hemmings, Douglas Hemmings, Richard Hemmings, Keith Hemmings, Kevin Hemmings, Gary Hemmings, and James Hemmings. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
